Metro provided services at full speed in 2019…

Metro Istanbul provided services to the people of Istanbul at full speed which shows that why it is preferred for its fast and comfortable services. Our trains carried almost 700 million passengers during the year.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Affiliate Metro Istanbul shared its 2019 data. People of Istanbul showed great interest in metro in 2019 according to this data. Our trains provided nearly 850 thousand hours service and covered a distance of nearly 100 million kilometres.

Nearly 450 thousand vehicles are taken off the road…
We have carried nearly 700 million passengers with our trains that provide services to more than 2 million passengers in a day during 2019. This provided a relief to the traffic by taking nearly 450 thousand vehicles off from the roads. Metro Istanbul conducted 100-thousand station inspections to provide our passengers safe, secure and comfortable journey.

Our Stations Also Hosted Artistic Events …
We support cultural activities as Metro Istanbul and we provide space for artists in our stations. We hosted nearly 100 exhibitions at our stations and we provided opportunity to 200 musicians to deliver nearly 15 thousand performances at our stations in 2019.
