Metro Istanbul acts by prioritising the public interest in all its services. Considering that it is not enough to provide services only in the field of transportation, Metro Istanbul aims to provide the transportation needs of the residents of the city in the most efficient, comfortable and fastest way, while also creating the necessary opportunities for its passengers to enjoy the services it carries out in metro areas. For this reason, Metro Istanbul adopts the principle of increasing the quality of life of our citizens with the social, cultural and artistic activities it organises with the awareness that Metro Istanbul is there on behalf of the public and exists for the public.
With the understanding that it is a part of the whole, Metro Istanbul embraces the issues of environment, women, children, culture-arts and sports, and takes actions within this framework. In line with the principles of continuous development and improvement, Metro Istanbul closely follows sectoral developments and technological developments. In this sense, Metro Istanbul examines the practices of other operators throughout the world and implements the best practices of such operators that are members of international organisations.
