Metro Breaks Record at Weekend

Metro Istanbul provides services for over 2 million passengers every day and broke the ridership record on Saturday 21st September 2019 at M1 Yenikapi-Ataturk Airport/Kirazli Metro Line.
Space and Technology Fair (Teknofest) was organised at Ataturk Airport at weekend and attracted a great deal of attention from the people all around Turkey. Citizens preferred M1 Yenikapi-Ataturk Airport/Kirazli Metro Line for more convenient, fast and comfortable transportation to the fair. This Metro Line broke its existing record with 566.290 trips on Saturday 21st September 2019.
