M7 Line Poses for Photographers before Everyone else !

Within the scope of the professional photography workshop held on October 23rd, in partnership with Metro Istanbul and Sony, photographers first had the chance to see the fantastic venues of the M7 Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line, the first fully automated metro of the European Side, which will be opened on October 28th.
M7 Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line, which is the first fully automated metro line of the European Side, will be commissioned on October 28th. Tekstilkent Station of the line hosted the "Sony Alpha Pro Event" workshop.
In the workshop organised jointly by Metro Istanbul and Sony on October 23rd; Photographers took photos of the fantastic places of the line, professional photographers and dancers using special lighting systems and Sony Alpha equipment, on the plateau consisting of 4 shooting areas established at M7 Line warehouse area and at Tekstilkent Station.
With the themes of metro musicians, ballet, tango and futurism, professional models and coloured lights were used in the shots taken in the modern architectural atmosphere of the warehouse area of M7 line and Tekstilkent Station. In the workshop attended by 40 photographers, shots were taken in groups of 10 people.

“We will enjoy the city together”
Özgür Soy, General Manager of Metro Istanbul, stated that they are happy to realise the first event of M7 Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line. Stating that the photography workshop was held with the participation of Metro Istanbul and Sony, as well as Metro Istanbul social media followers and employees. General Manager Özgür Soy said, “Today, in addition to Sony's 35 photographers, 5 Istanbul residents selected from among our passengers who sent us their 'Metro and Human' themed photographs, participated in the workshops and took beautiful photos with professional equipment. Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and we are lucky that we are living in this beautiful city. In order to enjoy the beauties of the city and the metro together, we, as Metro Istanbul, will bring together Istanbulites with various events and host them in our venues.

Photos will be exhibited at all stations
The exhibition will include 40 photographs selected from the photographs taken during the workshop. The exhibition, which will first be presented at the station where the commissioning ceremony of M7 Line will take place, will then be exhibited at all stations of the line as a traveling exhibition.
