Citizens informed the call centre during the year regarding their lost goods mostly about their bags. It can be seen from the statistics that three thousand ninety five passengers informed the staff that they lost their bags at stations or in vehicles. Other cases are electronic devices with 643 cases, lost cash with 202 cases, lost gold with 91 cases, lost foreign currencies with 12 cases.

Two hundred seventy three lost goods are delivered to their owners …
Metro Istanbul staff and security personnel delivered two hundred seventy three lost goods out of 4,043 to their owners in 2019 according to the lost goods queries received by IMM call centre. Passengers can place their queries to the station directorate or from 153 Call Centre if they become a victim of theft or lose their goods. Lost goods are delivered to the Lost Goods Office at the end of each day. Call centre conducts investigation on these lost goods and informs the passenger about the outcome. If call centre does not receive any query regarding a lost good for 15 consecutive days then they send it to IETT Lost Good Office.
