False parking interrupt tram services

Vehicles have to stop their services because of false parking on T3 Kadikoy - Moda Tram Line. Tram services are interrupted because of false parking which happens 160 times a year.
False parking is one of the most important problems of traffic jam in Istanbul that also negatively affects tram services. T3 Kadikoy - Moda Tram Line provides service on a route with intense highway traffic such as Kadikoy Square, Altiyol and Bahariye Street and the trams have to interrupt their services frequently due to the drivers who park their vehicles incorrectly.

4 incidents in 3 days…
False parking on the tramline interrupts tram services 160 times a year. Services of T3 Kadikoy - Moda Tram Line that was mainly used for touristic purposes were suspended on April 6th, 2020 due to the coronavirus epidemic. Even though the services were suspended for 3 months, 55 services have not been carried out because 23 vehicles were parked on the tram line since the beginning of this year. Services of T3 Kadikoy – Moda Tram Line are restarted again and its services are interrupted 16 times since Monday, July 6th, 2020, because of 4 drivers who parked their cars on the tramline.

10 Hours went by waiting in 3 months…
Generally, we are not able to reach to the drivers who parked their cars incorrectly. The trams had to halt their services about 10 hours in the past 3 months this year waiting the traffic to return to its normal flow. This 10 hours of waiting corresponds to approximately 3.5 hours of waiting per month.
