Capacity Increase Works on M1 Line Are Started

Capacity increase works in stations started simultaneously with “Domestic and National Full Automatic Train Control Signalisation System” works that is going to be installed to M1A Yenikapi-Ataturk Airport, M1B Yenikapi –Kirazli lines and M1B Line’s second stage Halkali extension.
Construction works started to arrange platform areas in accordance with Platform Separating Door Systems, increase and improve the accessibility in various stations and extend the platform areas of stations in M1A Section. Platform extension works in stations will provide a %25 increase in capacity and this physical capacity boost along with the renewed signalisation system and automatic trains relevant line’s hourly passenger capacity will increase up to %70 by year 2021.
