Carrying Capacity Of T3 Kadikoy-Moda Tram Line Is Increased

Number of train carriages in T3 Kadikoy - Moda Tram Line is increased. Carrying capacity is increased by 30 % on the relevant line that provides services with three carriages in peak hours. T3 Tram Line provides services in between Kadikoy and Moda and it started 2020 its services with new service schedule. Tramline provides services in one of the most important regions of Istanbul in between 06:55 and 21:00 every day. T3 Tram Line provided services to 3,900 passengers every day with two carriages in between 08:10 and 19:10 and continued to provide services with one carriage in the remaining hours in the first months of 2019. T3 Tram line increased its capacity by 10 % by starting to provide services to 4.300 passengers with two carriages whole day at the end of 2019.

T3 Tramline started to provide services with three carriages in between 14:00 and 19:00 and with two carriages on the remaining hours as of 2020 because of passenger demands and satisfaction that is brought by capacity increase. Aforementioned service arrangement increased daily ridership by 30 % when it is compared with the same period of 2019 and carrying capacity reached up to 5000 passengers.

T3 Kadikoy – Moda Tramline:
Kadikoy – Moda Tramline consists of 10 stations and is 2, 6 km long and is commissioned in 1 November 2003. Tramline starts its services from Kadikoy Square and reaches to Bahariye Street via special bus lane. The line continues its journey by following Bahariye Street and reaching out to Moda then turns back from Moda Street and arrives back to Kadikoy Square.
