Our 58 New Drivers Took Their Licences!

Metro Istanbul organised a ceremony to give licences for 58 train drivers who have successfully completed Metro Istanbul’s 23rd term Train Drivers Training programme. Our General Director Kasim Kutlu, Vice General Directors, Instructors and families of the train drivers participated in the ceremony. Student Group from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of People with Disabilities’ Esenler Centre for the People with Disabilities branch delivered a stunning performance in opening ceremony which took place at Prof. Dr. Adem Basturk Cultural Centre. After the music performance, presents were given to the instructors and disabled students as a souvenir for this remarkable day.

Vice General Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs Pinar Karim made the opening speech and invited our General Director Kasim Kutlu to deliver a speech. Kasim Kutlu congratulated all the drivers who have completed their training successfully and said that “now we are together with our brothers who are getting their certificates after going through a challenging training programme. I would like to express once more that we are happy and proud to provide a service-friendly perception to the people of Istanbul as a part of our goal to render high quality service”.
Train drivers who have successfully completed their training programme got their licences after the speech. Ceremony is finalised after taking a family photo of all the directors, instructors and train drivers all together.
