We are separating our wastes in dining hall…

We are separating our wastes in dining hall, in order to use our resources efficiently and to prevent wastage.
As Metro Istanbul, we installed waste collection equipment in our dining hall, in order to prevent wastage, to use our resources efficiently, and to regain used resources by recycling within the context of Zero Waste Project.

We are going to add value to our future…
We started working on using resources efficiently to invest in our economy, environment and our future. We installed blue boxes in our dining hall in the first place within the context of this project. We believe we are going to add value to our future together by using these boxes for recyclable materials such as paper, cardboards, glass, plastics or metal.

Ministry started the project…
Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning prepared Zero Waste Regulation and it is published at the Official Gazette in 12.07.2019. Regulation determined the general principles and practice principals to establish a “Zero Waste Management System”. The aim of the regulation is to prevent or minimise waste generation and to accumulate generated waste in accordance with their nature so they can be used for recycling.
