Istanbul's Metros Will Be Coloured With Children's Pictures !
Metro Istanbul, one of the affiliates of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), will exhibit the "Future Transportation in Istanbul" themed paintings drawn by children as part of the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children's Day events at metro stations.
Turkey's largest urban rail system operator, Metro Istanbul, is organising an exhibition of children's paintings for the second time this year in order to experience the enthusiasm of 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children's Day together with children. In this context, the pictures with the theme of Future Transport in Istanbul, drawn by children, will be presented to passengers in the metro areas as of April 23rd.
Application conditions:
• The theme of the exhibition is “Future Transportation in Istanbul”. Images unrelated to this theme will not be taken into consideration.
• Only one painting of each child can participate in the exhibition. If more than one picture of the same person is sent, none of the works will be evaluated.
• The deadline for participation in the exhibition is 23:59 on Monday, April 18th. For participation, the pictures must be submitted to the station authorities at the metro stations by this date.
• Pictures should be drawn horizontally on 35x50 cm painting paper, without mats, not be framed or decorated.
• Name, surname, school and age information should be placed in the lower right corner of the picture.
• The desired paint can be used in the pictures. However, there should not be any unpainted areas on the paper.
• The first 100 paintings that comply with these rules will be included in the exhibition.
