Cooperation Visit From Metro Istanbul To Eregli
Metro Istanbul, an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), came together with Karadeniz Eregli Municipality to examine the field of Goztepe Cable Car Project. General Manager Ozgur Soy, who went to Eregli and senior management of the company, exchanged information about the project with Mayor Halil Posbiyik.
Metro Istanbul is Turkey's largest urban rail system operator and continues to cooperate with different cities on rail system projects including the 7.4-kilometer A2 Dikimevi-Nato Road Line Project consisting of 8 stations in Ankara and the 2-kilometer Nostalgic Tram Project to be built in Hatay. Metro Istanbul came together with the Karadeniz Eregli Municipality for Goztepe Cable Car Project.
Metro Istanbul General Manager Ozgur Soy went to Karadeniz Eregli and met with Mayor Halil Posbiyik, and the company senior management, together with Deputy Mayors Haluk Okur and M. Tayyar Mendes, where there made observations for Goztepe Cable Car Project. General Manager Ozgur Soy said, "As Turkey's industry leader, our support visits will continue for rail systems journey of our other municipalities".
It will carry 512 passengers per hour
Giving a briefing about the drawn project, Metro Istanbul Deputy General Manager Responsible for Projects Fatih Gultekin said, “The project was drawn between Amphitheatre and Goztepe. The places where the legs of the project have been determined. The line will be 452 meters long where there will be 4 cabins and 8 people in each cabin, with a capacity of 512 passengers per hour and arrival time will be 2 minutes and 54 seconds.
