Mayor Imamoglu Exchanged Bairam Greetings with Metro Istanbul Employees

Metro Istanbul employees that render services to millions of Istanbulites everyday were on duty to provide fast, comfortable and uninterrupted transport services this Kurban Bairam just like they do every bairam and public holiday.

Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem Imamoglu came together with the Deputy Secretary Generals of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Murat Kalkanli, Orhan Demir and Murat Yazici along with the Head of Department of Rail Systems Pelin Alpkokin on 3rd day of Kurban Bairam at Sarachane Building of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem Imamoglu arrived at Yenikapi Metro Station on foot along with the members of the Senior Management of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and exchanged bairam greetings with the local shopkeepers and listened to their problems. Mayor Imamoglu and the accompanying committee exchanged bairam greetings with Metro Istanbul employees that were working in bairam at Yenikapi Station and then inspected “Yenikapi Security Surveillance Centre” that was put into service 7 months ago. Deputy General Manager of Metro Istanbul Ali Firat gave technical information to Mayor Imamoglu about Security Surveillance Centre. Mayor Imamoglu exchanged bairam greetings and conveyed his regards to the employees that were working in bairam through radio. Mayor Imamoglu had a tea talk with the employees and gave instructions about the publicity of the centre that works in 24 hours basis.

Mayor Imamoglu and the accompanying committee had a family photo with the employees and got on the metro from Yenikapi Station and got off at Halic Metro Station and observed the historical peninsula from the observation platform which is located on the bridge. Mayor Imamoglu shared his ideas about the region and the things that had to be done in the first place.

Field Visit of Metro Istanbul’ Senior Management
Deputy General Manager Ali Firat and Assistant General Manager Mustafa Metin Yazar, our Managers, Supervisors and Superiors along with our Executives came together on 14th August Wednesday on the 4th day of bairam and visited our facilities in M4 Esenkent Compound, M5 Carsi Station Operation Offices, M2 Seyrantepe Compound and Control Centre, M1 Yenikapi Station Machinist Recreation Room, T4 Topkapi Machinist Recreation Room, T1 Zeytinburnu Compound Machinist Recreation Room and M3 Olimpiyat Compound and exchanged bairam greetings with our employees that were working in bairam.
